Repairs, installations and maintenance in one overview.
Gilbert replaced the hinges on our wood privacy gate and rehung it so it actually latches now. He explained why it had been sagging, which I appreciated since I had no idea.
Had Oxboro install an opener on our driveway swing gate. The tech checked the posts first and said they were solid enough before quoting. Wiring was buried neat and he set up both remotes with us. Works perfectly. Only thing is he ran about an hour late but he called ahead. Would recommend.
Our automatic slide gate kept stopping halfway and reversing. Gilbert came out and found the safety sensor was out of alignment and one of the track wheels was worn down. He replaced the wheel and realigned the sensor, and it runs smooth now. Only letdown was waiting almost two weeks for the part to come in, but the repair itself was great.
Our gate opener stopped responding to the remotes. The tech went through it step by step and found a corroded wire at the control board. Fixed that and tested everything. He also pointed out the battery backup was nearly dead, so I ordered a new one. Good at explaining what he was looking at without talking down to me.
We work across Bloomington, including the Oxboro, Penn Lake and Normandale areas, and travel to the cities around it.
Driveway swing gates, driveway slide gates and pedestrian gates, along with the posts, hinges, rollers and tracks they hang from or run on. We set new posts on footings sized for frost depth, and we fix gates that sag, drag or bind on the track.
Yes. We install operators on new and existing gates and repair the ones already there, including openers that stall in the cold, dead keypads and photo eyes that no longer line up. A maintenance visit also tests the safety sensors and adjusts travel and limit settings.
Keypads, remotes and intercom access are part of our installation work. Most entry devices can be wired to an operator that is already in place once we have looked at its controls and power supply.
Both. A maintenance visit means lubricating hardware, adjusting travel and limits, testing safety sensors, tightening posts and clearing debris from tracks, ideally before winter sets in.
Tell us the gate type, about how wide it is and what it is doing, and we will set up a visit to look at it.
